ABSTRACT
The decision to transfer the management of Batam Center International Port from PT Synergy Tharada to PT Metro Nusantara Bahari has sparked various controversies and reactions from related parties. This article analyzes this decision from the perspective of decision-making theory, identifying factors influencing the decision-making process and evaluating the impact of this decision on port operations. Using a qualitative approach, this research aims to provide a deep understanding of the dynamics of management decisions and their implications.

ABSTRAK
Keputusan pengalihan pengelolaan Pelabuhan Internasional Batam Center dari PT Synergy Tharada ke PT Metro Nusantara Bahari telah memicu berbagai polemik dan reaksi dari berbagai pihak terkait. Artikel ini menganalisis keputusan tersebut melalui perspektif teori pengambilan keputusan, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses pengambilan keputusan, serta mengevaluasi dampak dari keputusan tersebut terhadap operasional pelabuhan. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini berusaha memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang dinamika keputusan pengelolaan dan implikasinya.
